Morriscastle Beach is part of several beaches that stretch for approximately 22km from Cahore point to Curracloe in Co. Wexford, this sheltered stretch is known locally as the Golden Mile. Morriscastle Beach is sandy and relatively shallow making it extremely popular venue for families who flock to the local well run caravan parks in the vicinity.

Tucked away just a small distance from Kilmuckridge village and bordered by a sheltering dune system, this is an ideal beach for children to play. The beach is attended by Lifeguards from June until the end of August and has safety buoys located on the beach ensuring it is very safe for swimming.

Seals are also often seen swimming near the shore.

The beach is cleaned regularly and daily during the peak season. Please help keep Morriscastle beach tidy and take your rubbish home with you at the end of your day. 

With free car parking, toilets, a beach shower & lifeguards, it is one of the most accessible and beautiful beaches around.

Getting to Morriscastle Beach

From Dublin take the N11 to Gorey, Co. Wexford. Near Gorey take exit 23 and travel on the R741 passing through Ballycanew and Ballyedmond. Follow the signs into Kilmuckridge, Morriscastle is signposted from there. When you get to Lawler’s of Morriscastle… you will know that you have arrived!
